Have
you ever regretted not filling those in gaps in your Somerville
Collection. Well you need not have any more regrets. Watch this
space. Selected Somerville Models are to be re-issued in, as close
as possible, their original form. They will cost a bit more, but
they would have been more expensive today anyway, and they will be
limited editions. I cannot reveal anymore information at the moment,
except to say that the first release is likely to be the Vauxhall L
Type, and will feature as before, separate bright plated parts, and
clear lens. Please email me if you are interested in adding the new Somervilles
to your collection. Likely release date is November 2010. |

SPA CROFT MODELS HUMBER
PULLMAN.
Test assembly shot.
These are the
first photos of the forthcoming Humber Pullman. The model has been hurriedly
painted and assembled to identify all the small parts and their locations, and to familiarize
ourselves with assembly procedure. This example does not have a vac form
(windows) at the
moment, nor have the headlamp lenses been inserted. The bright work needs to
be plated also. All this will appear on the production models. These will be of a much higher standard than
the example shown above. The first batch of all black models, and the
Marshall's wedding car fleet livery of Black Pearl over Shell Grey, are
being painted at the moment, and delivery is expected before the end of
August. The first of the fully finished models should be available for
delivery in around six to eights weeks time, but this will only be to
collectors who have pre-ordered their model. If you haven't ordered your
model yet, but would like to receive one of the first models, please
let me know. More pictures will be posted once the production models have
been assembled.

The master for our next model.
The Humber Pullman Mk.I
These are the
first two shots of the brass master for our forthcoming Humber Pullman.
Don't worry, the production model will have wheels, two headlights, two
sidelights, door handles, windscreen wipers etc. I haven't put them on as
they could easily get lost with not being glued on the body. Its a big model
at around 43/4
inches long, and it stands at 21/2
inches high without its wheels !!!!!! If you are interested in adding one of
these to your collection, or if you would like more information when it
becomes available, please email me, without any obligation.

After an unexpected delay,
the castings have finally gone away for painting. The first colour schemes
to be produced will be the all black
Le Car Noir
model, and the Marshall's liveried version. I am now looking at a September
release for the first models

All Wolseley
25s from the current batch have now been sold. The last of the three tone
green and black versions have more or less been completed, but the full run
of 200 hasn't yet been exhausted. More will be built let, along with the
grey/blue and all black versions. We are also looking to produce the two
tone brown version at some time in the future. This will be limited to 25
examples.
